A good performance from designated hitter Jon Fritz helped the Cincinnati Royals defeat the Sandusky Seagulls, 7-5. Fritz went 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles. There were several reasons the Royals beat the Seagulls, but one factor was Paul Dennis. In the bottom of the second, the Cincinnati left fielder came to bat and hit a 3-run home run. It staked his team to a 4-3 lead.
