The Indianapolis Eagles used a stellar performance from pitcher Brad Bixby to throttle the Toronto offense en route to an extra-inning, 4-2 win at Trash Panda Field. Indianapolis pitcher Vince Rice got the win. He's now 5-3. Travis Espinoza was tagged with the loss. Indianapolis now has a record of 52-48 with the win.

Who knows how it would've ended, had it not been for John Thaxton? The 24-year old center fielder Thaxton stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the tenth inning to put Indianapolis up, 3-2. For the game, he was 3 for 5, including 1 double and 2 singles.

"Nice win for us," said Thaxton. "Now we'll go after the next one."
