Reivers Advance to League Championship Series
While it wasn't a complete mismatch, the Iowa Western Community College Reivers showed themselves to be the superior team in the Division Series, downing the Chattanooga State Community College Tigers 3-1.

"Nothing is ever easy in the ABA Junior College playoffs. Whether you're a favorite or an underdog, you can't take anyone lightly or you'll get burned," said Mike DeWitt, who was named series MVP after a standout offensive performance.

Iowa Western Community College won the final game by a 14-1 count at Doc Ross Baseball Field to clinch its spot in the next round.

They will hope to once again rely on DeWitt there, as he hit .500 with 3 home runs, 8 RBI 8 runs scored during the series.

The Iowa Western Community College Reivers will play against the San Jacinto College Gators in the next round. San Jacinto College won their series against the Temple College Leopards 3 games to 0. The League Championship Series schedule will be announced after the Division Series finishes.
