Highlanders Move on to League Championship Series
McLennan Community College Highlanders fans are rejoicing after a 3-0 win at Howard Lake Field has propelled the club to a 3-1 Division Series victory over the Chattahoochee Valley Community College Pirates.

With the win, the club advanced on to the League Championship Series.

"Total team effort, that's the only way we get it done in this one," said McLennan Community College center fielder Luke Norton, who was named series MVP.

The McLennan Community College Highlanders will play against the Walters State Community College Senators in the next round. Walters State Community College won their series against the Cowley County Community College Tigers 3 games to 0. The League Championship Series schedule will be announced after the Division Series finishes.
