Tim Gregg had a good game, but he could not keep the San Diego Fleet from falling, 9-7, to the Dallas Dragons at Tennant Healthcare Ballpark. The San Diego left fielder went 2-3 with a home run, a double, and 2 walks. He scored 3 times in the loss. The winning pitcher was Pat DeChant. He tossed 103 pitches over 5.1 innings, allowing 4 runs on 5 hits. Picking up the save was 30-year old right-handed pitcher Adam Holland.

Dallas third baseman Rocky Hawke contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the fourth. With two down, he hit a fastball to center field for a run-scoring single. It was his 74th hit of the season and put the Dragons ahead, 4-3.

"I know we have our doubters," said San Diego manager Brian Burnett. "But I still have high hopes for this team."
