Sausville HR-Happy in 6-4 Win
A good performance from designated hitter Jeff Sausville helped the Tiverton Colonels defeat the Moncton Mounties, 6-4. Sausville belted 3 home runs, while adding 6 RBI and scoring three times for the Colonels. Jon Cordova got the win, improving to 10-7. He pitched 6 innings, giving up 3 hits and 2 runs, while striking out 8 and walking 2. Jim Unknown recorded the save for Tiverton, his 1st of the season.

Sausville had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the sixth. On a 3-1 fastball from Willie Bowers, he banged a 2-run home run to left, giving the Colonels a 4-2 lead. It was the 34th home run of the year for Sausville.

"It never gets old," said Sausville. "Winning, that is."

The 4th-place Colonels now have a record of 63-76.
