Riding the 3-hit performance of the 21-year old center fielder John Wallick, the Franklin Cubs stopped the Moncton Mounties, 6-2. Franklin has run its win streak to 4 straight.

John Lucia had a big 2-run triple for the Cubs in the bottom of the sixth inning. With Franklin leading 4-2 and runners on 2nd and 3rd, he got a cutter from Eddie Remington and swatted a triple to left-center. It was his 3rd triple of the season, and more importantly, it put the Cubs ahead, 6-2.

"Today was a lot of fun," said Lucia.
