The Carolina Reapers handed the Cincinnati Royals a sound defeat, 13-2, at The Castle. Moises Reyes was a main contributor to the win. He went 3 for 4 with 2 doubles and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 2 for Carolina. The Reapers sport a record of 39-58.

Carolina used a clutch at-bat from Blake Benigno to capture the win. The center fielder hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Reapers ahead, 6-1. It was his lone hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

"If you pitch well, you give yourself some opportunities," said Carolina manager Julio Rodriguez.
