The Dallas Dragons knocked off the Hollywood Stars, 6-2, in American Conference action at Tennant Healthcare Ballpark. Dallas pitcher and St. Paul, Minnesota, native Steve McClung had an outstanding performance. The last-place Dragons have a record of 40-57.

The game was at a stalemate until left fielder Justin Bellamy came to bat in the bottom of the eighth. Facing Hollywood pitcher Logan Stone, he hit a full count changeup for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Dallas on top, 3-2.

Bellamy called the win "a team effort."
