The Long Island Torpedoes downed the Borrego Springs Rams, 6-3, at Club Circle Park. The Torpedoes were led by Josh Livesay. Livesay went 2 for 4 with a home run and was hit by a pitch. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. Jose Herrera snagged the win in relief. He goes to 6-3 on the season. John Robertson suffered the loss. Danny Guerrero sewed up the save, his 3rd.

Livesay contributed in the top of the third. With runners on 2nd and 3rd, he hit a run-scoring single. It was one at-bat among others that helped Long Island get the win.

After the game, Long Island manager Moises Gonzalez applauded the team's effort. "We put some good AB's together," he said.

The 'W' lifts Long Island's record to 50-71.
