Robinson Powers Dragons Offense
Due in large part to left fielder Joe Robinson, the Dallas Dragons sunk the San Francisco Fire, 9-1. Robinson was 3-5 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 times and drove in 4. Chris Benson was the winner. Over 7 innings, he yielded 1 run on 5 hits, with 2 walks and 6 strikeouts. The Fire drop to 5-5 and continue their mediocre start to the 2026 season.

With Dallas leading 5-1 in the bottom of the eighth, Robinson came up to bat against San Francisco pitcher Ron Lombardi. Robinson hit a fastball to center for a grand slam home run. His 2nd home run of the season put the Dragons on top, 9-1.

"I felt good up there," said Robinson. "I saw the ball well."
