Bellflowers Suffer 11-6 Home Defeat
A 4-RBI performance from center fielder Arturo Castillo led the Franklin Cubs to a win over the Buffalo Bellflowers, 11-6. The win was credited to Melvin Galvan in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Achille Murrone took the loss. The third-place Cubs sport a record of 60-44.

In the top of the sixth, Castillo put his team in front with his 8th home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which came against Achille Murrone, made it 6-4, Franklin.

"We'll keep playing hard and let the chips fall where they may," said Franklin manager Kerry McElree.
