Pirates Rally to Eke Out Win
Saint Pierre and Miquelon beat Lincoln at Spinners Ballpark, escaping with a 5-4 win in 12 innings. The win in large part was due to third baseman Nick Makar. He was 2-3 with a home run. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. The winner was Saint Pierre and Miquelon reliever Dan Martin, now 10-2. The loser was Alex Balladares. The losing skid has reached 6 games for Lincoln.

Saint Pierre and Miquelon got a game-changing hit from Tom Modell. The third baseman blasted a solo home run in the bottom of the 12th inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 2 at-bats, but it was a winner.

"The game is never over 'til it's over," said a jubilant Bryan Crockett, the Saint Pierre and Miquelon skipper.
