The 8-5 Oakland win over Dallas was due in large part to John Piscitelli. The Invaders left fielder was 3 for 4 with 2 home runs. He scored 3 runs and drove in 5. Evan Pullman got the win, improving to 9-5. He held the Dragons to 3 runs on 4 hits over 6 innings, while striking out 4 and walking 2. Idhma Kodandarami sewed up the save, his 3rd.

Early in the game, Piscitelli had a 3-run home run for Oakland. It was his 12th home run of the season and put the Invaders on top, 3-0.

"I like our moxie," said Invaders manager Steve Pate.

With the win, the Invaders improved to 54-41.
