The Abingdon Archers earned a close win over the Moncton Mounties, thanks in part to Bobby Gang. The Abingdon right-hander, who is tied for 5th in the NC in saves with 6, played a key role in the 3-2 victory. Jim Unknown recorded the save. In save chances, he's now 1 for 1. The Archers move to 22-76 with the win.

Abingdon took a 3-1 lead on Luis Casanova's 6th home run of the season. The solo home run, which Casanova hit in the top of the eighth, left Moncton pitcher Sean Ryan visibly frustrated.

"Bobby is one tough hombre," said Abingdon manager Eric Collier.
