Jemison Dominant in Pines Victory
|
The Maine Pines downed the Montreal Maroons, 5-0, at Hannaford Dome. Stellar pitching by Justin Jemison had a lot to do with it. The right-hander, who is tied for 5th in the NC in wins with 9, handcuffed his opponent all game. Today's win puts Maine at 62-33, while Montreal falls to 44-51.
Jemison gave Maine a solid start. The right-hander allowed no runs on 5 hits over 8 innings.
"I felt good. I felt like I was locating the ball well and I was able to keep them off-balance," said Jemison.
