Rodrigo Castillo was outstanding against Buffalo. The right-hander, who is tied for 9th in the NC in quality starts with 4, had a fastball that was virtually unhittable at times. The result was a Colonels 7-0 win. Castillo got the win, improving to 5-2. He gave up 2 hits and walked 3 over 6 innings. He allowed no runs. The Colonels now own a record of 64-26.

The Colonels got a lift from left fielder Nick McCain, who in the bottom of the third hit a 2-run home run. His 7th home run of the season put the Colonels on top, 3-0.

"Rodrigo went out and did what we needed," said Tiverton manager Chris Hartman.
