Led by Steve Jackson, the Moncton Mounties defeated the Terra Linda Chargers, 7-4. Jackson was 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3 for the Mounties. Greg Forness got the save, the 4th for him this season. Moncton now owns a record of 47-43.

Moncton used the timely hitting of Elijah Pleasant to seize the win. The pinch hitter stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Mounties on top, 6-4. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.

"Good win for us," said Pleasant. "We'll strap it on and go after the next one."
