Moody on Fire, 5-for-6 Against Chicago
Hollywood third baseman Elijah Moody could do no wrong in his team's 14-1 win over the Gangsters, as he collected 5 hits.

"Things were in his favor in every one of his at-bats," Gangsters skipper Antonio Valdez said to the press corps after the game. "He got hitters' counts."

Moody agreed, saying that getting ahead early in the counts was "the key" to his game.

"Once you get ahead, it makes it a lot easier because you get a better pitch to hit," he said. "You know the pitcher has to come in with it. And you're ready."

Elijah Moody hit an RBI single in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, flied out in the 6th, hit a two-run home run off Brian Kauppinen in the 8th and hit an RBI double in the 9th.

Moody is currently batting .283 with 15 home runs and 49 RBIs.
