The Terra Linda Chargers and Plymouth Rockers played an entertaining game for Madison Grounds patrons.

Terra Linda Chargers starter Isaiah White pitched a strong game against the Plymouth Rockers at Madison Grounds, leading the Chargers to victory, 4-3. White, now 3-0, was the winner. In 6.1 innings, he gave up 5 hits, while striking out 4, walking 3, and allowing 3 runs.

Terra Linda used a clutch at-bat from Joe Corcoran to capture the win. The first baseman hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the sixth inning to put the Chargers ahead, 4-3. It was his lone hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

"This team is on a mission," said White, who is one of the clubhouse leaders. "I like our focus."

Terra Linda, at 54-30, is 8 games up in the Northern Conference East Division.
