Led by Jesus Jimenez, the Borrego Springs Rams defeated the Buffalo Bellflowers, 16-9. Jimenez belted 2 home runs. He drove in 5 runs and scored twice for the Rams. With the victory, the Rams upped their record to 51-32.

The game was at a stalemate until third baseman Jorge Parra came to bat in the top of the ninth. Facing Buffalo pitcher Achille Murrone, he hit a full count splitter for a 2-run single. It was a game-changer, putting Borrego Springs on top, 10-8.
