Dearman Swings Sea Turtles to 6-4 Win
The Daytona Beach Sea Turtles topped the Halifax Heathens by a score of 6-4. Leading the way was second baseman Jon Dearman. Dearman went 3-4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 4 for the Sea Turtles. Jeff Adams closed out the game, earning his 21st save. The first-place Heathens now sit at 57-37.

Dearman made an early impact for Daytona Beach when he stroked his 7th home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which came in the bottom of the second, put the Sea Turtles on top, 5-0.

"We need to string a few more wins like this one together," said Dearman.
