Both teams had their opportunities, but in the end, the Daytona Beach Sea Turtles got the win.

Daytona Beach Sea Turtles right-hander Scott Reynolds pitched a good game against the Halifax Heathens at Leatherback Park, leading his team to victory, 4-2. David Rogers, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 19th save.

With one out in the bottom of the seventh, Ross Dorough had a game-changing hit. The Sea Turtles first baseman slammed a 2-run single off Billy Shields, making the score 4-1, Daytona Beach.

"Scott's as tough as he is talented," said Daytona Beach manager Ken Bennett.

The Sea Turtles, at 40-54, sit in third place in the National Conference South Division.
