Led by Victor Jara, the Buffalo Bellflowers downed the Long Island Torpedoes, 6-5. Jara was 4-5 with a home run and 3 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for the Bellflowers. With the win, Buffalo raised its record to 52-24.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the ninth. With one out, Jara hit a fastball from Katsutoshi Watanabe for a run-scoring single. The Bellflowers, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"I'm trying to see the ball big, see the ball up in the zone and put the barrel on it," Jara told the Buffalo Citizen.
