Led by Juan Conde, the Terra Linda Chargers downed the Franklin Cubs, 8-7. Conde was 4 for 4 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 4 for the Chargers. Cory Crabtree was credited with the save, his 5th in 5 tries.

Terra Linda took advantage of an error in the top of the ninth inning. The game was tied, 7-7, when Frank Babb hit a run-scoring single that was misplayed. It put the Chargers in front, 8-7.

"I'm just looking to see the ball, hit the ball," said Conde.
