The Moncton Mounties took Terra Linda pitcher John Manship's best shot and still were able to claim a win at Mapleton Yards. The final score had Moncton getting past the Chargers, 5-4. Manship went 5.2 innings and allowed 3 runs, striking out 3. The winner in relief was Matt Schmidt. The right-hander allowed 1 run on 4 hits in 2.1 innings. He now owns a record of 2-2. The first-place Chargers dropped to 45-26.

Moncton got a clutch hit from Adam Robertson. The pinch hitter launched a solo home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a kill shot.
