Moncton Mounties starter Engo Hirai found his groove in his team's 7-4 win over the Buffalo Bellflowers. The first-place Mounties now have a win-loss record of 55-5.

Outa Kagawa hit a run-scoring double off Miguel Gastelum in the bottom of the fourth, which put the Mounties in front, 2-1. In addition to the double, Kagawa had 1 single, while going 2 for 5.

"You have to trust that what you're doing is going to produce results," said Hirai.
