Lincoln pitcher David Torres did his part in helping his team defeat the Franklin Cubs, 7-0. The opposition could never get too much going against the left-hander. With the win over Franklin, the Princes improved to 25-31.

The Princes got a big at-bat from left fielder Federico Rosales. For the game, Rosales was 1 for 3 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the first, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 3-run home run. His 6th home run of the season gave Lincoln a 3-0 lead.

"I tried to establish all my pitches early," said Torres.
