Mounties Even Record with 7-3 Victory

The Moncton Mounties welcomed the Plymouth Rockers to an night game at Madison Grounds.
With shortstop Antonio Salais leading the charge, the Moncton Mounties defeated the Plymouth Rockers, 7-3, at Madison Grounds. Salais, who is tied for 9th in the NC in stolen bases with 7, was 1 for 2 with a home run, a walk, and was hit 2 times, while scoring 2 and driving in 3. Plymouth's current losing streak is now 4 games.
It could have been a different outcome for Moncton, had it not been for Jeremy Gage, the 22-year old second baseman . Gage contributed a 2-run single in the top of the fifth inning to put Moncton up, 3-0.
Gage said his team "executed a good game plan."
