Gangsters Lose at Home, 6-2
|
Hollywood turned a good effort from starter Oscar Malave into a win over the Chicago Gangsters at The Hideout. The Stars won the game, 6-2. The winning streak has now reached 4 games for the Stars.
Matthew Little had a big 2-run home run for the Stars in the top of the third inning. With Hollywood leading 2-1 and a runner on 2nd, he sized up a curveball from Sam Palacios, who leads the AC with a 11.1 K/9 rate, and punished it. The result was his 24th home run of the season, which put the Stars on top, 4-1.
"We're playing like we're capable of," said Hollywood manager Alex Aguilera.
