Nightmare Absorb 7-4 Home Loss

Syracuse and New York got after it at Nightmare Stadium.
Good production from right fielder Billy Totten helped the Syracuse Scorpions topple the New York Nightmare, 7-4. Totten went 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once for the Scorpions. Syracuse pitcher Jonathan Marich got the win. He's now 1-1. Andy Shoemaker was tagged with the loss. Ken Allbaugh picked up his 2nd save of the season.
Totten had a key at-bat in the top of the third to put Syracuse in front, 3-1. With the bases loaded, he drew a walk, driving in 1 run off New York pitcher Andy Shoemaker.
"Every time I go up there, I try and hit a ball hard," said Totten.
New York is 3-7 after the defeat.
