Gladiators Pull Out Late Win, 5-4
Oakland got a decent performance from pitcher Isaiah Sanders, but it wasn't enough to beat the Phoenix Gladiators. Phoenix won the Howard Terminal contest, 5-4. Sanders threw 7.0 innings allowing 4 runs for the losing team. Ryan Robertson came out of the bullpen to earn the win. The left-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2 innings. His record now stands at 6-3. Phoenix has a record of 42-51, placing them third in the American Conference South Division.

Pat Bounds chipped in for Phoenix, stroking a crucial 2-run home run in the top of the seventh inning. For the game, the center fielder was 1-4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.
