The Dallas Dragons powered past the Oakland Invaders, 12-5, at Howard Terminal. Akihide Sera hit 2 home runs, while adding 5 RBI and scoring twice, to lead the charge. Dave Combs earned the save for Dallas, his 1st of the year. Dallas is now 51-42, while Oakland is 43-50.

Dallas used the hitting of Jay Pearson to pick up the win. The shortstop clubbed a 2-run single in the top of the fifth inning to put the Dragons on top, 8-5. For the game, Pearson had 1 home run and 1 single in 3 at-bats.

"It was great to come out and swing the bats," Pearson told the Dallas Times.
