Gangsters Get Clutch Win, 5-4
The Chicago Gangsters stopped the Detroit Giants, 5-4, at The Hideout. The Gangsters got a big game from Justin Wish, who went 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. The winner was Arturo Alvarado in relief. His record improves to 1-3. Lee Maher took the loss. The Gangsters raised their record to 33-59.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the ninth. With one out, Wish hit a curveball from Lee Maher for a run-scoring single. The Gangsters, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"The crowd was juiced," said Wish.
