Dragons Come Back Late to Clip Fleet
The Dallas Dragons faced a tough opponent in San Diego pitcher Corey Gruver, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Tennant Healthcare Ballpark by a final score of 7-6. Gruver went 6.1 innings and allowed 2 runs. Dallas reliever Mike Braasch was the winner. His record is now 9-4. The losing pitcher was Justin Pierce. The defeat makes San Diego 59-33.

Josh Kreisle was the walk-off hero for Dallas. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Dragons first baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"It was a solid team effort," said Kreisle after the game.
