Road Win Lifts Montgomery to 2-1 Lead in DS
Riding the 4-hit performance of first baseman Paul Adam, the Montgomery Missions got a road win against the Sikeston Shamrocks, 6-4, in Game 3 of the Division Series. Adam went 4-5 with 4 doubles, while scoring 2 times for the Missions, who now lead the best-of-7 series, 2 games to 1.

Kyle Hirsch hit a run-scoring triple off George Harris in the top of the eighth, which put the Missions in front, 5-4. Hirsch had 2 singles, in addition to the triple. For the game, he went 3 for 5.

"Trying isn't good enough in this league," said Hirsch. "You've got to get results."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Shamrocks Park in Sikeston.
