Slumping Sea Dogs Lose 7th Straight
The Toronto Trash Pandas beat the Charleston Sea Dogs, 6-3. Toronto pitcher and Santiago, Dominican Republic, native Sergio Penichet led the way. The win gives Toronto a season record of 46-45.

Toronto used the timely hitting of Phil Tibbits to seize the win. The designated hitter stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Trash Pandas on top, 3-2. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"Thought I threw pretty well and overall I felt good," said Penichet.
