Elijah Miller picked up the win in relief. His record improves to 1-3. Brian Prince suffered the loss. The loss makes New York 39-52.

Guillermo Ramos, who finished 3rd in the AC in doubles with 41 in 2020, had a timely hit in the bottom of the seventh inning. With one out and a runner on 3rd, the Syracuse third baseman hit a run-scoring single. That put the Scorpions in front, 5-4.

"We need to string a few more wins like this one together," said Ramos.
