It's party time in Orange Lutheran High School. The confetti is flying and residents are smiling.

The Orange Lutheran High School Lancers have reached the mountaintop, capturing the 2026 Round 3 today. They defeated the Coppell High School Cowboys 4-2 at Coppell ISD Baseball Complex to officially wrap up the series 4-0.

Asked how it feels to be a champion, first baseman Steve Embly was to the point.

"It feels great, like a million bucks. I'm so happy right now, not just for me but for all the guys," he said. "We put a lot of work into this and deserve to be champions."

The team is planning a victory parade and fan appreciation day later in the week. Orange Lutheran High School finished the regular season 29-11 and claimed first place in the High School Baseball League California Interscholastics Federation.
