The 19-year-old rookie on the mound turned out to be the least of the Buffalo Bellflowers worries.

Giving a high-pressure playoff start to youngster Antonio Corona seemed like a risky move for the Bellflowers, but it was one of the few things that went right at Wegman's Field. Corona tossed 6.2 solid innings, but it was all for naught after Buffalo dropped a 3-0 decision. With the win, Moncton took a 1-0 lead in the best-of-7 Division Series.

In the bottom of the first, the Mounties found themselves in a jam. Buffalo had runners on 2nd and 3rd with two out. The score was 2-0, Moncton. Marcos Cortez was at the plate, hoping to deal the Mounties a serious blow. Instead, he grounded out to end the threat.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Wegman's Field in Buffalo.
