Justin Krystofiak sparked his Alabama Crimson Tide past the pesky Auburn Tigers in a closely-contested Final 4.

Alabama topped Auburn 7-5 at Samford Stadium – Hitchcock Field at Plainsman Park to decide the series, 3-1

For his efforts, Krystofiak was rewarded with the series MVP trophy for his .429 batting average, 5 RBIs and 5 runs scored.

"You never want to leave anything on the field," Krystofiak said. "You never want to miss a play of defense you could have made, or give up an extra base you could have gotten, because in a series this tight you never know what you'll need to win."

The Alabama Crimson Tide don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Virginia Cavaliers - Nebraska Cornhuskers series. Virginia leads the series 2 games to 1. The College World Series schedule will be announced after the Final 4 finishes.
