Almost There: Ft. Wayne On Cusp of DS Triumph After 4-2 Win

The Ft. Wayne Earthquakes moved to within one game of the League Championship Series, downing the Chuluota Imperials on the road at Imperials Ballpark by a score of 4-2. Earthquakes right-hander Shalom Bruin had a strong outing. He threw 5.0 innings of 4-hit ball. The win gives the Earthquakes a 3-1 advantage in the best-of-7 Division Series.
Victor Lara had a direct impact on the outcome. Lara contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh inning to put Ft. Wayne up, 4-2.
"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Lara said after the game.
The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Imperials Ballpark in Chuluota.
