The Maine Pines trumped the Oakland Invaders, 6-3, at Howard Terminal. Maine second baseman David Duthie was terrific. He hit 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. Maine pitcher Ryan Flamino got the win. He's now 1-1. Steve Bueno was tagged with the loss. Maine, now 7-2, is playing great baseball to start the year.

Pete Roan, who was drafted in the 3rd round of the 2020 draft, helped out the Maine cause in the top of the sixth inning with a run-scoring sacrifice fly. For the game, the first baseman was 1-3.

"I was able to square up some pitches," said Duthie.
