Grand Rapids Wins to Cut Santa Rosa Lead to 3-2
The Grand Rapids Jet Hawks have closed some of the gap between themselves and the series-leading Santa Rosa Desperados, winning, 7-3, at Keelhaulers Ballpark. Jet Hawks right-hander Oscar Casas threw 5.1 innings allowing 3 runs. The win cuts the deficit facing the Jet Hawks to 3-2 in the best-of-7 Division Series.

Devin Lepp, the Grand Rapids designated hitter, contributed a 2-run single in the top of the seventh inning to make the score 6-3, Jet Hawks. For the game, Lepp went 2-4 with 2 singles and a walk, while adding 2 RBI.

"We did a lot of things right," said Casas.

The next game is set to be played for Friday, September 13th , 2024 at Jet Hawks Ballpark in Grand Rapids.
