Capitols Even With Tigercats After Extra-Innings Win
The Augusta Capitols went the distance and then some at Vail Grounds to drag themselves back into a tie with the Vail Tigercats.

It took 12 innings to settle Game 6 of the Division Series, but Augusta eventually took the 4-1 win despite the performance of Vail pitcher Danny Gonzales, who threw 7.2 innings of shutout ball. The clubs are now tied 3-3 in their best-of-7 series.

Bryan Langel came through with a big-time hit for Augusta. The third baseman smacked a 2-run home run in the top of the 12th inning to give his team the lead, 2-0. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"It doesn't matter if you're 10 games over .500 or 10 games under, it feels good to win," Langel told the Augusta Chronicle.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Vail Grounds in Vail.
