Raucous The Capitol Dome Crowd Propels Capitols to 13-4 Victory; Series Tied at 2

The Augusta Capitols defeated the Vail Tigercats, 13-4, in Game 4 of the Division Series. Making an impact was first baseman Derek Vance, who was 2 for 4 with 2 singles and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 3. The win moves Augusta into a 2-2 tie with Vail in the series.
A key moment came with one out in the bottom of the fourth. That's when Vance hit a slider from Tony Suarez for a 2-run single, putting Augusta up, 3-0.
"The competition leap this year was tough to adjust to and I feel like there has been another jump in the playoffs," said Vance, a rookie this season. "You're only playing the best now and everyone has time to rest and prepare for you."
The next game is set to be played tomorrow at The Capitol Dome in Augusta.
