The Austin Desperados picked up a win at Dell Diamond, knocking off the Mexico City Aztecs, 3-2. Starting pitcher Jason Emary played a key role in the triumph. The Desperados now own a record of 49-41.

Emary was effective for Austin, seldom allowing the Aztecs to square up a pitch. The right-hander tossed 100 pitches over 8 innings. He limited Mexico City to just 1 run on 5 hits.
