Almost There: Encinitas On Cusp of DS Triumph After 7-3 Win
The Encinitas Eskimo Brothers moved to within one game of the League Championship Series, downing the visiting Riverside Rotters at EBDBBNB Park by a score of 7-3. Eskimo Brothers first baseman George Foote did some major damage. He was 2 for 3 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. The win gives the Eskimo Brothers a 3-1 advantage in the best-of-7 Division Series.

Angelo Diaz aided the Encinitas cause with a run-scoring single in the bottom of the fourth. For the game, the center fielder was 2 for 4 with 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.

"I'm just trying to make good contact," said Foote, "one at-bat at a time."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at EBDBBNB Park in Mobile.
