Encinitas Takes 2-1 Series Lead with Walk-off Win
The Encinitas Eskimo Brothers nearly wasted a strong game from starter Randy Lupton, but were saved by some timely hitting in a 9th inning walk-off win over the Riverside Rotters today.

Lupton pitched well in the 2-1 win at EBDBBNB Park. He threw 6.1 innings of shutout ball. The win allowed Encinitas to seize a 2-1 lead in the best-of-7 Division Series.

The decisive blow was delivered by Steve Parson in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a run-scoring double off 25-year old left-handed pitcher Dennis Cambridge to win the game for Encinitas. The home crowd went nuts.

"There's nothing like the postseason," said Lupton, "to ramp up the pressure."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at EBDBBNB Park in Mobile.
