Almost There: Winchester On Cusp of DS Triumph After 16-3 Win
Riding the 4-hit performance of right fielder John Hall, the Winchester Mountaineers flattened the Aurora Suns, 16-3, in Game 4 of the Division Series. Hall was 4 for 6 with a home run and 2 doubles, while scoring 2 and driving in 5 for the Mountaineers, who now lead 3-1 in the best-of-7 series.

With two out in the top of the fifth, Billy Carroll barreled up a fastball from Kevin McGaha. The result was a 2-run home run, putting the Mountaineers in front, 6-3.

"We have been clicking right from the start of this series, so our mission statement at the moment is just don't tinker with anything," Winchester manager Mitchell Young told reporters.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Suns Field in Aurora.
