Riding the 2-hit performance of shortstop Josh Laster, the Winchester Mountaineers got a road win against the Aurora Suns, 9-2, in Game 3 of the Division Series. Laster went 2-3 with 2 home runs and 2 walks, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 2 for the Mountaineers, who now lead the best-of-7 series, 2 games to 1.

Winchester used the hitting of Jason Lewis to pick up the win. The second baseman clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the sixth inning to put the Mountaineers on top, 6-2. For the game, Lewis had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.

"It was a good night for them and a bad night for us," said Aurora manager Arturo Colon.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Suns Field in Aurora.
